Magnets.

In this house, you best be liking refrigerator magnets.

A break from Pictures Of Houseplants.

Now time for a couple of random pictures of my house! I took these earlier while wandering around with the camera.

I call this one "The Hallway, with Keys."

And this one is "Blue Bathroom."

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Here are some shamrocks for you!

Finally my deiffenbachia is growing!

Soooo remember a long time ago in November I posted how I had a deiffenbachia leaf cutting I was determined to root, and it was supposed to take forever this way but I was being patient because the leaf looked healthy, and it had already been two months with nothing happening? Well...

Finally after *7 MONTHS* some action is happening! The tip of that leaf that is emerging used to be level with the small open leaf! The white ring near the tip of the opening leaf was at the base of the small leaf FOREVER and I thought nothing would ever happen and it is finally showing some signs of life! It has actually opened a lot more since this picture was taken but I need to go take a more recent picture to show. It must've been saving up energy forever to get that leaf growing. Neat!

Snow Day!

It is very snowy and cold and grey out today, my original plan was to go shopping at the discount store (I LOVE THAT PLACE) but I think times like these call for pyjamas and movies! The four car pileup I passed on the way home from dropping Craig off (on the road I had previously been on, ack!) further confirmed that plan! Starting off with Mrs. Doubtfire, to be totally honest I will probably watch it several times because it is my FAVOURITE movie. I also have a bit of a backlog of pictures so I will probably make a few more posts along the way! To start, here is a picture of the local neighbourhood wildlife (giant magpies and very brash squirrels) eating some bread I threw onto the side yard for them!

Random Plant Thing

Remeber the dracaena I chopped down because it got cold damaged? There's signs of life!

I was doing the daily misting and noticed these two new sprouts on the end of one of the stalks! Also...

Not the best picture, but you can tell that there is somethin' brewin' under that bark! I think we are due for another sprout! There's also this...

There was a small closed spike of leaves that survived the big chop because it was only partially damaged and I wanted to see if it would open up. Well all of a sudden one morning it looks like it exploded! I'm really happy one original leaf cluster survived!

That's all for now, I will be doing a big update soon because tonight I repotted and re-arranged some of the plants and the plant area is looking really snazzy!

The story of my purse, and today's sweet Winner's find!

Well my mom and I were out on our usual Tuesday shopping trip one day, and I picked up this BCBGmaxazria purse that I had seen before at Winners. It had been about $150. Well I looked at the tag and it had been marked down to *$40*! Well you can bet I grabbed it up, I couldn't believe right up until I was paying for it that it had been marked down so much, all for a little scuff on the handle! This is a $500 handbag! This was nearly a year ago and I'm still using it. It honestly is the only purse I've ever had that I've loved so much I never had a want to switch to a different one.

The second picture is today's Winners find, an Ed Hardy card wallet. I'm not sure if it is real ostrich leather because of the price but according to the labels it is real leather. It's a wonderful light brown that sets off the neon tattoo design, and the card slots and button tab are a yummy bronzy snake print. I'm in love!

My sewing box!

So this is my really nice new sewing box I just got, I found it at value village for only $5! And it's in like new condition. It's perfect for holding everything I need for my current project in my little stitching corner. You can see it open below, though you can't see whats in the top compartment I have pins and ribbon in one side and I use the other side for thread scraps. I love it! I use the top left compartment to hold the thread colors I'm currently using. Helps keep me from getting mixed up!
